PD Katie nesting instinct Add Video

PD Katie began onesting behavior after bringing in Flower a PD with missing right forearm. Flower was attacked by a hawk when she emerged from her burrow in the wild. PDP of NM tried to save the limb for a year, but eventually it had to be removed. Flower is scared of humans as a result. With Katie's help we hope to change that. Katie balled up a paper towel Tuesday and took it to the cage to put in with Flower. Hope to get that on film if done again.

Katie was on my bed and grabbed a bag I had there. I took it from her after filming. Not to worry.

She looks at least 8 - 10 years old Jim!

Give her some shredded computer paper! or a telephone book? She will have a ball with that! Is that a plastic bag in there with her? :O
